April 6, 2024, the freeriding competition Lofsdalen Freeriders Championship will be organized in the Big Mountain format. The competition is aimed at juniors aged 7-16, on boards and skis.
The competition will be arranged up at Sömlingshågna on the other side of Lake Lofsjön.

What does free skating mean and how does the competition take place?
Freeskiing is about making your way down a mountainside in such a creative and controlled way.
During the Lofsdalen Freeriders Championship, there will be at least 3 different starts that are age-appropriate:
Green 7-9 years
Red 10-13 years
Black 14-16 years
You may start lower but not higher than the start you have been assigned. The skier may ski facet 1 (stick inspection) and then ski up to the start again, which may vary depending on the amount of snow and how far the competitors can be driven.
The riders are assessed by 3 snowboard judges and 3-4 ski judges according to the following assessment criteria:
