At Destination Lofsdalen, you can rent SUP boards, kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. It’s an easy way to get out on Lake Lofssjön, whether you prefer a relaxed paddle or heading out for fishing and excursions. Lake Lofssjön is also home to M/S Lofsdalen, a sauna boat offering various packages that include sauna bathing, food, and drinks.
Beaches in Lofsdalen
In the heart of Lofsdalen village you’ll find Lofsdalen’s own “playa,” offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect place to end a day in the fells with a refreshing swim in Lake Lofssjön. The beach is family-friendly, with swings and a slide for younger children. A campsite and café are located nearby, and kayaks and SUP boards can be rented from the nearby sports shop or at the Guest Centre by the ski resort.
For those looking for a more peaceful swimming experience, Glötesjön beach is beautifully located with views towards Mount Hovärken to the west. Here you’ll find a cosy little bathing spot with a jetty, benches and a grassy beach – ideal for a quiet moment in the sun.
