At Destination Lofsdalen, you can rent SUP boards, kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. It’s an easy way to get out on Lake Lofssjön, whether you prefer a relaxed paddle or heading out for fishing and excursions. Lake Lofssjön is also home to M/S Lofsdalen, a sauna boat offering various packages that include sauna bathing, food, and drinks.
Beaches in Lofsdalen
In the heart of Lofsdalen village you’ll find Lofsdalen’s own “playa,” offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect place to end a day in the fells with a refreshing swim in Lake Lofssjön. The beach is family-friendly, with swings and a slide for younger children. A campsite and café are located nearby, and kayaks and SUP boards can be rented from the nearby sports shop or at the Guest Centre by the ski resort.
For those looking for a more peaceful swimming experience, Glötesjön beach is beautifully located with views towards Mount Hovärken to the west. Here you’ll find a cosy little bathing spot with a jetty, benches and a grassy beach – ideal for a quiet moment in the sun.
FISKELYCKA
I Lofsdalen finns goda möjligheter till fiske i lugn och naturnära fjällmiljö. Här kan du fiska i sjöar, tjärnar och rinnande vatten med chans att få bland annat öring, röding, harr, abborre och gädda. Området passar både dig som fiskat mycket tidigare och dig som bara vill prova på under semestern.
Lofssjön är det mest kända fisket i området och är lätt att nå, men det finns även många mindre vatten runt omkring för den som vill upptäcka fler platser. Flera fiskeområden ligger nära vandringsleder och utflyktsmål, vilket gör fiske till en enkel aktivitet att kombinera med andra fjällupplevelser.
