Dog sledding adveture in Lofsdalen

We travel through Lofsdalen’s snowy landscape, where only the dogs’ breathing and the sound of their paws against the snow break the silence. You’re part of the experience from start to finish – from harnessing the dogs to ending with a cozy moment by the fire. After a short briefing on the sled’s functions and safety, it’s time to set off. The dogs jump with excitement, eager to go – the noise is deafening, but soon a peaceful stillness settles in, and we enjoy the pace, the nature, and the silence.

Join Arctic Wilderness Dogs for a dog sledding adventure in Glöte and get to know the purebred Siberian Huskies before setting off on a journey through forests and across marshland, with the mountains as your backdrop.

Choose between driving your own dog sled or riding along with an experienced guide. The tours are 10 km long and take place in small groups. Afterwards, enjoy coffee, refreshments and a warm drink by the fire in the company of the dogs.

Tours depart from Glöte 541 and run weekly throughout the winter season.

Please remember to dress warmly, as the weather and temperature can change quickly in the mountains.
Each sled accommodates 2 adults plus 2 children or 3 adults.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour 2 hours before the start time
Cancellations made at least one week before the start date are fully refundable.

At Uppvallen Fäbod, you can take a refreshing dip in a real mountain stream. Next to it, there's a cozy sauna to warm up afterward. The sauna accommodates 4 people comfortably, or 5-6 people if you're willing to sit close together.

Every Thursday evening, enjoy a dinner featuring local delicacies from the Lofsdalen area.

You can ride the snowcat at 18:00 from Västvallen’s parking lot, or take your own snowmobile up.
