ACTIVITY PROGRAM WINTER

The package includes a variety of activities for your week in Lofsdalen. There is plenty of time for personal activities, such as alpine skiing or cross-country skiing. The package is adapted for weekly stays.

The following activities are included in the package:

Monday – Ice fishing and sauna tent in the morning, approximately 3 hours. Try ice fishing on the frozen lake, followed by a warming drink and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna tent on the ice. For those interested, there is also the option to take an ice bath.

Tuesday – Snowmobile adventure under the starry sky in the evening, approximately 3 hours. Experience the magic of the winter mountains on an evening snowmobile tour. Under the starry sky, enjoy the peaceful beauty of the landscape and a delicious dinner, surrounded by the frozen wilderness. With some luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the northern lights.

Wednesday – Dog sledding in the morning, approximately 1 hour. Embark on an adventure with dog sledding through the winter landscape. Feel the freedom and silence of the beautiful nature. After the dog sledding, we will serve some refreshments. Note: Due to high demand, this activity may also be available on Tuesday.

Thursday – Snowmobile safari with a reindeer theme in the morning, approximately 3-4 hours. Head out on an exciting snowmobile tour across the mountains, where you’ll often see reindeer grazing in their natural habitat. This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience the stunning winter landscapes while learning about the local culture and history, including stories of Lofsdalen and the Sami people’s work with reindeer.

Friday – Snowcat ride up to Lofsdalen’s very own Waffle Hut. Followed by a guided snowshoe hike down to Lofsdalen again. Enjoy the fantastic views and learn more about local flora and fauna.
