Swedens longest illuminated ski slope gets even better

Lofsdalen has long been proud to have Sweden's longest electric illuminated slope measuring a total of 3150 meters. It goes straight from the top of Hovärken 1125 m. through the slopes Toppen, Lången and Loffe down to the start of the resort and and Lången Express . In total, you ride all the 492 height meters the ski resort offers, which is also the highest in Sweden when it comes to illuminated skiing.

This year, the night skiers will have an even better experience when the slope Toppenbacken is provided with new lighting. The new lighting consists of quality LED lamps from DesignLight. These have a long durability with modern energy-saving technology and can be dimmered as needed. This makes it possible to light up the mountain, for example, to create a warm welcome for arriving guests. In addition, more light posts are set up for the lighting to be denser and stronger.

"The main reason we make this investment is obviously for the sake of the visitor experience. Evening skiing is popular and a good lighting is a matter of course to make it as fun and safe as possible, "says Robert Magnusson, operations manager at Lofsdalens Fjällanläggningar.

The investment is a first step in a bigger venture where all evening lighting, all the way from the top to the bottom of the valley, will be replaced.
